This is by far my favorite post Messiah Complex x-book.  I still miss the hell out of New X-Men, but Kyle and Yost are crafting a hell of a story so far

I've been sick of Yost's work since his run on Ghost Rider, and I'm not a big X-men reader, so I'm not sure why I started reading this book. It's all been pretty decent, and I'm gonna stick it out until the end of the arc, and I'm interested to see how the alien Technarcy plays out.

Ugh... I'm not even sure why I'm still picking this up. I *hate* that they're bringing back Archangel. It was a concept very much best left dead.

@igotkittypryde - Its interesting because I've heard/read a lot of people say the same thing, but I was really excited to see him come back last issue.  I started reading comics right around the time that he was prevalant, and I got out around the time that Angel got his feathers back, so the Archangel version is really all I ever knew.  It seems like the only people that really liked the Archangel concept are the ones like me that started reading X-Men comics in his heyday

Finally...it feels like FOREVER since the last issue came out!!

I hate the idea that concepts are considered "90s" ideas.  Archangel was a unique, clever idea back then and there is still plenty to do with it today. It all just depends on how it's used.  Personally I don't think it lasts beyond this arc, but I'd welcome it if it did.

As for this series, I still get the feeling as if this storyline is treading water a little bit. Introducing a new threat every issue does not a complete story make, especially since all the previous new threats have done nothing but sit at in a conference room in silence.

The first three issues of this were just "blah" to me. Wasnt anything good happening. But the last two issues have really picked it up and I actually look forward to this issue. I cant wait for Choi after this just because im not a big fan of Crayton.

@shogunt i agree. what happened to all the characters sitting in the conference room? That was a turning point for me but nothing has happened since.

@cutty Ditto.  Back in my comic reading hey-dey, my friends and I would be like "did you know that Archangel used to have feathers and be called Angel?!"

We were ten years old, and idiots.

The action in this issue is very interesting, but my complaints are that the artwork is too dark and gloomy, and when are the Technarcy-Humans going to work into the plot? I think many readers have forgotten about them by this point --- dragging story!

I think I got into comics around when Archangel was around to. I just don't like the concept. It seems so 90s. In fact, this whole book seems very much like a gritty 90s throwback title. I'd probably drop it at the end of the arc, but I like Mike Choi enough to stick around to see his stuff.

i love the arcangle consept.  as a matter of fact i thought that angle was a little boring.  "yeah im a rich good looking guy that gets to fly" is all i ever got out of him.  but arc angle was more intresting, trying to over come personal demons.  and as arcangel he is aloud to fight the bad guys.

i do have a thery though that may work out on what is going to happen.  i think angle will be able to change back and forth from metal to feather wings when ever he wants to.  yea that would work for me.

I thought the art was quite a bit better than at the start of the book, it had a very static look in the first few issues and there was far more life in it in this issue. That was a welcome change. I still don't like Archangel being back, but this wasn't bad.
