This is the shmost oresome preview I've ever seen -- I want a digressive six issue arc by Millar and McNiven exploring the six-page sequence that this preview features.

I can't wait 'til next Christmas when we get to see the ending. ;)

@cyberauron-you mean in the flashback scenes?  Probably. 

I checked out the preview on CBR and judging by the fact that a famous 90's X-Men is in it, I don't think this story is in continuity.  I know Millar said in an interivew with IGN that it was indeed in continuity.  Yet that man is so crazy and he said it so long ago, so you never know! Doesn't matter, its a good story and thats all that matters

Yeah after seeing that orgasmic preview provided by William....this is totally not in continuity. I'm sure it wasnt to begin with, but it's strange that Miller would balantly say it is.

I might be in the minority for this but, I am getting sick of these delays. Wasnt this suppose to come out 2-3 weeks ago? This is a fantastic arc and probably the best Wolverine story in decades....but if it continues to be delayed like this, I dont know if I can hold out for another 3 issues.

A lot of alternate futures ("Days of Future Past," what's going on in "Cable" right now, what's going on in "X-factor" right now, the world Bishop comes from, etc) are arguably "in continuity" in Marvel.

Very excited for this, even thought this big reveal could flop big time.

@OhCaroline-Yes, but when Millar states that it is the 616 Marvel universe, that  usually means its not an alternate timeline.  I understand when they say alternate timelines are in continuity, but this was different.  Like I said, it doesn't matter to me either way, its just something that I think about from time to time.

Is it just me, or is the art very different for a Steve McNiven book?

I dont know why but it looks different, maybe a different colorist? It sorta looks like Simone Bianchi from Astonishing X-Men....Except that it looks great here.

I'm loving all of Millar's Marvel books. I really can't think of anything negative to saya bout any of them. Which brings me to...

@TheNextChampion - Quit being such a damn downer, man. This series is kicking ass more than any other mainstream Marvel or DC book. The delays are absolutely worth it. If you're having so many problems, why pick it up?

And there is nothing wrong with Simone Bianchi's art. Can you do better? Nope. You can't, or else your name would be on one of these books.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing something you are enjoying.  Thats what real fans do and most people value those opinions far more than the opinions of people who blindly praise books/creators who honesly believe they have no faults.

Loving this series so far. 

Why does everyone hate Bianchi? Seriously, I think his art is beautiful. 

I wasnt saying the art was bad for this issue, or for the preview I saw. I just ment it looked Bianchi-like. For some reason it looks more like Simone Bianchi then Steve McNiven here, but then again it could be the colorist for that idea.

Trust me if I would hate on Simone Bianchi it would be for his actual works. Never before have I seen the color brown used more for anything in art.

@J4K3 - The "don't criticize unless you can do it yourself" school of thought is kind of ridiculous.  Criticism can and should come with a healthy does of respect, however.

I kinda think Wolvie's cracking up in the preview, and he can't find the X-Men because in actuality he's butchering the X-Men.

I've seen Mysterio pull tricks like this before.

This book is pretty good, but lets face it, its only a rip-off of "Unforgiven".

I keep thinking this and it makes me laugh everytime. If this is suppose to be an Unforgiven rip-off.....does that mean Hawkeye is the Morgan Freeman of the comic?

Cant stop laughing thinking about it.....if that is the case, I would love to see Hawkeye narrate the arc like Freeman.

Yeah, Millar has stated that he loves Unforgiven and it was the basis for this story.  He has never denied it in any way.  This story really isn't anything we haven't seen before, its just that these guys are doing such a kick ass job that its a blast to read.

what a preview!  I can't wait.  Logan is a bad ass!

That preview was ridiculously amazing.

Haven't been to the shop this week, but since I'm not buying Incognito till the trade, my bet is this is my personal Pick of the Week! Can't wait! This has been the best Wolverine story in years for me.

Well it's the same inker and colorist for this issue as the previous....So I still dont know why this looks differently then the other issues.

Maybe cause it's a flashback the colorist/inker wanted to change it up just a tad to make it look different from the present.

Wonderful as always. Reads extremely quick, as always... but still: Wonderful.

Now I'm not sure if he's ever done anything like that in Spider-man or anywhere, but Mysterio just bumped up a few levels in my scary villians hierarchy. Also, if Wolverine we're a villian, he'd probably be at the top. This was another great issue in a great story.

@Grandturk-It was inevitable that some people wouldn't like his reasons for Wolverine not fighting anymore.  What about it made it a "crap issue" for you?

I think there were really only a few things that he could have done in order to make us really believe that he would not kill anyone anymore.  And whats more traumatic than murdering the people that gave you a home and brought you into their world?   

I loved it.  This might very well be Millar's best series ever. 

I thought it was good.

But was Jubilee the only hero to put up a fight? He fought Bullseye/Jubilee for 90 minutes.

Does that make sense to anyone? ahhaha

@scorpion Now that you mentioned it, I can see cyclops or even "gambit"  taking him on for 90 minutes but not jubilee. also if he was hyptonize wouldn' t jubilee be the first to go since she was right next to him

@cyberauron-Maybe its because he saw her as "dead" right at the beginning of the attack?  No idea why it had to be her.  I understand that they would all hold back because they didn't know what Logan was doing at first...but the second he ripped the head off of a teammate, I would have taken his ass down with everything I had!!

Whatever, still a great issue. :-P

As much as I enjoyed the issue there is one major flaw with the story of why Wolverine doesn't pop his claws, he's got super sense of smell so when did mysterio get the power to overcome that I though his powers were visually based. And yeh Jubilee giving him a fight for 90 mins I don't think so.
