Wolverine has simply not been good lately, hopefully Jason Aaron and the awesome artwork of Ron Garney can turn things arond!

Is this the first issue with Aaron as the writer?

I want to pick this up because of Jason Aaron, but I didn't read Messiah Complex. Will I be able to fallow the plot?

I don't know if they changed the book or something, but on Marvel's site, like, 2 days ago, this storyline was called "Enter Mystique" or something like that.  I know for sure, it has nothing to do with what's from before, so it will probably be pretty new reader friendly.  Besides, Jason Aaron rocks, and Wolverine #56 was one of my favorite single issues last year.

Garney's preview images were amazing. Can't wait for this one.

So, first issue following a massive crossover, my shop (Coliseum of Comics in Orlando, FL) has no issues on the shelves for 2 of the 3 X-books this week. All of their X-Factors were missing a staple, so they pulled them and are sending them back, and they also got shorted on Wolverine so badly that they have no issues on the shelf for walk-in customers.

I really dislike Mystique stories just cause they always seem like a bad card trick to me.

Nice work here... Aaron's story is quite gritty, and Garney is working a Joe Kubert/JRJR angle here. Certainly, as entertaining as this book has been since "Enemy of the State."

So F-ing good!  Great Art, great twist ending, It was the last thing I grabbed at the store last week and my favorite thing I read.  Jason Aaron is an all-star in the making.

Definately great - I'm going to start picking this up.  Never had much interest in a Wolverine series since back in the day with the Miller mini-series - Before Wolverine was so over-exposed.
