I really felt that mike Carey pulled it out of the bag for this issue. The continuing tension between Reed and Sue felt real with Reed following Sue around asking is there a chance for reconciliation. Sue talking to her friend who subtley comes on to her by suggesting semi playfully she try lesbianism. The pencils by Kirkham felt tighter in this issue and not as loose as the last chapter of the last arc and it bodes well for the coming issues in this series.
