Spider-Man With Great Power #2 (OF 5)
As Stan Lee wrote in the pages of AMAZING FANTASY #15 "Now anybody with the intelligence of a seven year old knows that if a man appeared on TV who seemed to be more spider than human, he'd be an overnight sensation!" For the first time, we peel back the curtain to see what Peter Parker's life was like after the bite but before the tragic death of his Uncle Ben. Professional wrestling, cars, girls, fame, money…ladies and gentlemen, meet Peter Parker, the wallflower bitten by a radioactive spider and given great power!

I don't know about the story, but the art is kick ass. I will say this again Tony Harris=God.
Posted by Hoshigaki on 02/25/08 at 07:28 PMi thought the first issue sucked. it's pretty much peter parker being a douche bag. i love tony harris and i'm hoping this issue will be better.
Posted by leland222 on 02/26/08 at 08:29 PMANOTHER CRAPPY ISSUE! This comic really does nothing for me. Basically, it's about Spider-Man being a wrestler and being a boring central character before he became interesting. I am dropping this book. I love you Tony Harris but I can only handle so much.
Posted by leland222 on 02/28/08 at 01:58 AMI'm not into this one. I had to drop it.

Posted by edward on 03/01/08 at 07:39 PMAfter this issue, I'm dropping this one too. It's bringing absolutely nothing new to the table. It might be good to introduce a younger reader to comics--that is, a younger reader who somehow missed all of the movies.

I'm looking forward to this one, of course I'm a sucker for origin-type stories.
