@wellthatsalright - I know it's kinda late but this I definitely think would be a good jumping on point. They just got done with all the stuff from the Annihilation Conquest series so it's back to typical space cop duties which is definitely awesome. I honestly can't think of a single issue of this series that was unsatisfying. This issue continues that and it doesn't look like the next issue is gonna be any kind of slouch either. I mean come on.......The last NOVA with the entire Nova Force vs. the greatest of Galactus' heralds THE SILVER SURFER.
If you like Sci Fi you need to be getting this book!!!

@wellthatsalright - I'd say yes. Pretty much everything you need to know about Nova is given on the recap page - the Nova Corps is gone, Richard is the last, he just helped save the Kree from the Phalanx, and now he's back to business answering calls for help.
And I gotta say, I think Nova is consistantly the best book Marvel is putting out.

that was a really good issue --- anybody have any idea what/who villain is (the black cloud psychic thing)? is that an old villain?
