Nova #12
The New Mutant Warlock returns in an issue that propels Nova back into ANNIHILATION: CONQUEST! Still threatened by his deadly Phalanx virus, Richard Rider finally reaches Kvch, the never-before-seen Technarchy homeworld. But are the “parents” of the Phalanx still there – and can Nova even reach them? And are you ready for the comeback of the former New Mutant know as Warlock? Join writers Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning and new ongoing penciler Paul Pelletier (FANTASTIC FOUR) for another chapter of the saga that has Wizard saying “If you’re a fan of out-there sci-fi with a superhero twinge, you should strap yourself in for a ride with the Human Rocket’s series.”

Oh, I'm excited that Pelletier is drawing this issue. His pencils have been super fantastic. I do heart this book.
Posted by Neb on 04/07/08 at 11:17 PMSelf LOVES Nova, but especially loves Nova with Warlock & Son (Self wondering if they're going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy?).
Posted by southbymidwest on 04/08/08 at 01:14 AMKudos to the writers for succeeding at making the Technarchs believable characters. I'm a bit more subdued about the art than Neb. The pencils were OK, but the limited use of colors was rather a neat touch. Sufficiently alien and space-like.

Posted by nroa on 04/10/08 at 05:24 PMNova is so full of win.
Posted by HBD on 04/11/08 at 11:33 PMI hope this means the end of Richard dealing with the Phalanx virus, that was starting to get a bit tedious.
