the first issue was a great set-up, I can't wait to see where this goes.
Posted by Kimbo on 06/23/08 at 11:27 PMYep I hope this sucker can keep going with the brilliance of the first issue. Millar is on fire with Kick-Ass and this title.
Posted by Hawkboy on 06/24/08 at 03:24 AMYeah , Millar is doing his thing this right now. Been looking forward to this book.
Posted by xiseerht on 06/24/08 at 04:03 AMMy LCS didn't get this in cuz Diamond didn't ship it to them even though they ordered it. FU Diamond!!! Now I have to wait until next week and hope that they get it in.
Posted by comicdork37 on 06/25/08 at 02:42 PMThis is something that I'm surpised isn't rated better. This was a really good issue. That page with stilt man, wonderful. With how great the first issue was, and how little indication it gave about where this thing is going, it was nice to see that it looks like it's going to stay this good.
Posted by NealAppeal on 06/26/08 at 04:50 AMI love that the comic shop owner was drinking out of a Disappearing Tardis coffee mug. They seem to have the 80's comic shop down.
Posted by TMacken on 07/02/08 at 04:10 PMThis series is a few things to me
1) a great reminder of why I fell in love with comics
2) the best limited series running right now
3) the REAL Marvel event of the summer, with Secret Invasion being a let-down of sorts.
Mark Millar has definately created something very special here.

Between Kick Ass, 1985, Wolverine and the upcoming War Stories from Image, Millar is responsible for a lot of great reads in my stack. The covers for this series are some of my favorites in recent memory. The coloring seems to be especially eye catching in my opinion. Where did this Tommy Lee Edwards guy come from?
