I still can't figure out why this is a good idea.
Still, if it turns out to be good, I'll pick it up in trade.

This idea doesn't really appeal to me at all, but for some reason I still expect it to be great. Is that weird?
Posted by NealAppeal on 05/27/08 at 11:07 PMit's a little bit animal man. it's a little bit what if? it's going to rock
Posted by edward on 05/27/08 at 11:22 PMI'm certainly excited. I have no idea what to expect, but I do hope we get some brown costume Wolvie action as promised by the cover!
Posted by ActualButt on 05/28/08 at 12:44 PMShould have stuck with the original photo art!
Posted by SamMorgan on 05/29/08 at 04:56 AMLOVED this!!! Reminds me of stuff like Monster Squad only with the Marvel Universe. Call me a fanboy but I especially liked the scene in the comic book store. Beautiful art as well.
Posted by comicdork37 on 05/29/08 at 05:50 PMI've read three pages, but if Ron has the pick, this is it. Mark Millar wrote a book that's actually about Ron.
Posted by RaceMcCloud on 05/29/08 at 07:02 PMI thought this was great. With the first few pages I started to not really care wether any super hero's were going to show up. I liked the kid. I liked the people talking about comics. I loved the art. This was one of my top two this week.
Posted by NealAppeal on 05/30/08 at 12:45 AMI liked this but have a feeling it could get bad in a hurry
Posted by AlexG on 05/31/08 at 09:33 PMDoes someone here read "20th Century Boys" ?
Because if you did you would get the same feeling ...Nostalgia.
Great Book hope it gets recognized...
Posted by Spooky on 06/01/08 at 11:04 AMthis book was great. mark miller need to keep doing these kind of "no pressure" mini's. to think i wasn't going to pick this up but people kept on calling me to see if i was sold out yet so i grabed the last one for myself.
Posted by kevrum on 06/03/08 at 05:50 AMThe year 1985 was pivitol in my comic reading life. Picking this up was a no-brainer for me for that alone. Plus T.L. Edwards is a favorite of mine. I thought it really delivered and can't wait to see where this goes. So far this is my POW.
Posted by jujoji on 06/05/08 at 01:38 AMThis BOOK KICKED ASS
>Spooky : oh yeah I read 20th Century Boys, that's an amazing series

This cover is amazing. Even after reading the synopsis I still don't know what to expect. I think I will pick this up because Kick Ass is still fresh in my mind and right now Millar can do no wrong. I also picked up his run on Wolverine a few years ago which kicked ass too (pun intended). Not a fan of the cover price however. Probably just get a card stock cover and no extra pages for the extra buck. Anyone else heard anything about this one?
