You might want to give Spurrier a try—his storytelling has a grittiness similar to Aaron's; at the very least, it's worth a flip through at your LCS. BTW, still waiting on the next issue of Gutsville, Spurrier, Frazier, Image Comics, et al.

Spurrier is yet another 2000AD writer now trying to make it in the US of A. The 'Simping Detective' graphic novel (amazing art by Frazer Irving) is pure class and shows what he can do given the chance.
