Still one of my favorite books.

Posted by TheNextChampion on 12/30/08 at 12:26 PMTwo Millar books this week? Happy damn new year.
Posted by J4K3 on 12/30/08 at 05:08 PMOh. Damn. Its actually THREE Millar books this week. It's like another small Christmas.
Posted by J4K3 on 12/30/08 at 05:19 PMI'm loving FF lately. Although it seems like it rarely comes out.
Posted by cman12 on 12/31/08 at 05:05 AMI've stuck with FF through thick and thin. This last arc was the best since Waid left the title.
Posted by warlock on 12/31/08 at 12:35 PMThis issue is where I finally "got it".
Posted by goat77 on 01/02/09 at 03:59 PMWhen this is all collected, it will be one of the great FF stories to recommend to people.
Posted by brianmaru on 01/02/09 at 05:03 PM@goat77-how so?
Really fun issue. I feel sorry for Franklin, until I realize that he is supposed to be an uber powerful mutant. Is that still the case? Or has it changed?
Great art and fantastic story. The exchange with Wolverine and the Hooded Man was priceless!

Well so far I just plain didn't really understand what kind of tone Millar was going for, or where all the different plots were headed. I wasn't connecting with the characters at all really. Starting with the end of last issue, I've really started to connect with and enjoy the run.
Posted by goat77 on 01/02/09 at 07:46 PMI think Franklin's mojo got bottled up, but that was pre-Heroes Reborn so he must still have had something after that to create the Counter-Earth. Not sure what his power status is after that. The Valeria stuff could be an interesting status quo change, but I bet Mrs. Thing is fairly "doomed" (ahem).
Posted by southbymidwest on 01/02/09 at 08:35 PMHas this been coming out on time? And does anyone know when the first trade comes out?
Posted by WinTheWonderboy on 01/03/09 at 02:12 AMnow that was a freakin comic book!
Posted by mrSlate on 01/03/09 at 09:43 AMAnyone notice an issue of Kick-Ass and Wanted on the floor when Franklin was reading his wishlist? Isn't he a little young to be reading those? :P

Loving this book now. Wish it was the Sentry in that casket though :-(
