Dark Tower Treachery #1 (OF 6)

The ka-tet of Roland, Alain and Cuthbert have returned safely to their home in Gilead. But all is not well. Roland has kept the evil Maerlyn's Grapefruit and has become obsessed with peering into its pinkish depths despite the deadly toll it's taken on his health. And what the young gunslinger sees brings him the darkest of nightmares. Meanwhile, Roland's father has led a posse in search of those who threatened his son's life in Hambry-John Farson and the Big Coffin Hunters. And in this encounter, Stephen Deschain's life may be forfeit.

It's almost crazy how good the Dark Tower books have been. I can't wait!

@SixGun

He should draw Iron Fist again. His take on the modern version would rock.

@J4K3 that would be awesome. I was trying to think the other day about who could fit that book and Lee would rock.

Yeah, the Marvel solicitations were a bit mixed up and actually changed.

@ tittom - Totally off-topic, but what did you think of LOST season 4? Mind-blowing stuff, right?

iFanboy needs to move this to the Sept.10 comics. I might want this as my pick of the week, guys.

...nevermind. The Stand will probably get my pick.

Sweet book. The art in this is just too good for words. You coud split this book apart and frame it its so good. I think this would have had a good chance at my pow if it were in the right week.

I'm posting a review tonight or tomorrow.
