I think it sells very well among non comic fans
Posted by DDevil1964 on 05/05/08 at 06:29 PMI enjoyed the original mini, but I thought it lost some steam toward the end. Sadly, I think this one picked up that trend right where the first left off. I'm really close to dropping this book, but I do love the look of the book.
Posted by JimmyD on 05/05/08 at 09:26 PMThe original mini and the one ongoing now is from the fourth volume of the dark tower books by stephen king. It's a great story.
Posted by Tonyt on 05/05/08 at 11:19 PMI'm a huge fan of the Dark Tower novels, so these comics are rocking my small sad world. It's awesome to see stuff "come to life" that you have only read in text before.
Also, the art is SO good, even if I wasn't a fan of the novels, Id read this for the art alone. It's unbelievable.
Posted by WadeWilson on 05/06/08 at 07:53 AMThe first mini was amazing, even for someone like myself who knows very little about the overall Dark Tower world. The art is phenomenal and the writting is on such a different level than anything else out right now. I really hope they continue to expand on this story beyond this mini
Posted by JoeNY on 05/06/08 at 08:55 AMthe back ups are pretty sweet, too. i've never read any dark tower novels and i still love this comic.

Wasn't the original mini like a top selling book?
