Posted by RoiVampire on 05/12/09 at 03:48 PMThis is tied with Guardians of the Galaxy for bEST book Marvel is publishing right now in my opinion.
Posted by southbymidwest on 05/12/09 at 11:29 PMMy store got shorted so I won't be able to read this till Friday.
Posted by Cadgers on 05/13/09 at 12:46 PMArgh! I put this book on my pull list back home this week! I'll now have to wait a month! Crap! I hope it's good.
Posted by PraxJarvin on 05/13/09 at 06:11 PMThis was a strange read for me. I had some definite problems with the beginning of the book.
The conflict between Captain Britain and Blade was like three panels and never seemed resolved. Wisdom told them to stand down but they were still swinging in the background while the Black Knight is just causually talking.
But the end redeemed it and put it back on track.
Posted by ScorpionMasada on 05/13/09 at 10:35 PMThat wasn't Captain Britain it was Union Jack.
Posted by MikeFarley on 05/13/09 at 11:21 PM@ScorpionMasada-Yeah, its Union Jack. The point was that they were fighting but there were far more important things to focus on.
Loved this issue. The ending was just insane. Can't wait to see where it goes
Posted by drakedangerz on 05/13/09 at 11:39 PMWhat a fantastic series this has been. I love how it's ok to completely mess with the UK because it's not America...lol Seriously, can you imagine that happening in say, Captain America? No chance. It's like London is it's own pocket universe. I love it. Keep on keepin on Cornell.
Posted by Crippler on 05/13/09 at 11:41 PMhahaha, where did Union Jack come from?
My mistake. But regardless of who was fighting, I don't think it was handled well.
Posted by ScorpionMasada on 05/13/09 at 11:56 PM@ScorpionMasada He's been in this arc, this is just the first time he just hasn't been wearing his uniform until now, and they've only been refering to him as Joe Chapman. He yells at wisdom in issue eleven.
Posted by NealAppeal on 05/14/09 at 12:25 AMPick of the week for me. No other book even go close. This was Class A, jaw-dropping, frickin' fantastic. How it only has a 2% PotW rating right now is beyond me.
Posted by theswordisdrawn on 05/14/09 at 04:42 AMAll right. So now I'll assume Union Jack fighting others is a common thing with him so the Black Knight and others are just used to it. That makes some sense.
This is looking like pick of the week for me.
I've still got one more comic to read.
Posted by ScorpionMasada on 05/14/09 at 10:28 AMThat last page blew me away. An Annual and two issues to go on this arc. Bloody hell. This is going to be intense.
Posted by theswordisdrawn on 05/14/09 at 11:13 AMi have no idea how this is all going to get resolved and that makes me so happy. man this is just damn good comic booking

I'm going to read through the Vampire State arc and then reassess my interest in this book. Not sure I can pinpoint it just yet but I am slowly losing interest.
