Posted by cyberauron on 12/29/08 at 11:10 PMI'm not reading this (checked out the 1st issue... meh) but that is a pretty damn awesome cover w/ the two Caps drawn in such Ross-tastic detail (not that I'm a Ross fanboy, which is what that just sounded like).
Posted by captbastrd on 12/29/08 at 11:54 PMI'm a Ross fanboy. Which mean I'll pick this up. Even if I don't get where this is going...
Posted by tittom on 12/30/08 at 03:10 AMI gotta say, this series has kinda let me down so far. I love the Invaders, but this "We think SHIELD and everyone is all Nazis!" bullshit wouldn't last a whole issue of a regular book and it's getting tired. And watching characters act under the impression that time travel works in a way that we all know it *doesn't* work in Marvel comics is getting a little old.
I'm tempted to drop it, but I think I'll just package the issues together and turn them into an Xmas present next year.
Posted by Diabhol on 12/30/08 at 11:19 AMThis ended up on the chopping block for me. I wanted to like it, but after 6 issues, nothing has really happened to get me excited about where its going. Waaay disappointed.
Posted by marvelzombie on 12/31/08 at 05:24 PMCap vs Cap on the cover is probably the only thing keeping me on this.
I'm such a Captain America mark.
*sigh*
Posted by TommyBrownell on 01/01/09 at 03:54 PMit seems this would have been a good read in a trade, but i still like it. im a big human torch fan
Posted by cyberauron on 01/03/09 at 03:19 AMAaaaaand...dropped it.
Posted by TommyBrownell on 01/04/09 at 12:30 AMI really doubt that anyone's going to be left by the last issue.
Posted by goat77 on 01/04/09 at 05:43 AMAny readers left, I mean.
Posted by goat77 on 01/04/09 at 05:43 AMI'm enjoying this. The inclusion and depiction of the Avengers has been horrible, to be sure, but I'm really liking the Invaders characterizations in this series. I think the writing and art have been doing the Invaders justice.
Marvel should put out an Invaders series and be done with it! Invaders Namor, Cap, and Torch would be great month to month.

I am at the halfway mark with this, and find myself oddly not caring. I really WANT to like it...but it is really losing steam with me.
