The first issue was AWESOME, I hope they keep it up. If nothing else the art will be BEAUTIFUL for the entire run but I have high hopes for the writing as well based on what I saw last issue.
I just realized after going through my long boxes the other day that Adam Pollina created and did the art on another book I loved called Big Daddy Danger a few years back from DC. If you like this style of art, pro wresting, alien invasions, father son coming of age stories or all of the above check it out.

This isn't the first time he's touched the x-books either he got his start on x-force way back.

I loved Adam Pollina back when he did X-Force. I didn't realize he was on this. I might have to pick this up.

This was another BEAUTIFUL issue. The story progressed nicely as well. Pollina's art reminds me of some of Tim Sale's style with the way he does very stylized faces.
