Yes, the variant cover kicks ass as well. I've never fallen into buying 2 copies just for the different covers but with this i find myself looking for an excuse to do so.

yeah, I love the variant covers but didn't realize there were 2 different ones till issue 3 of this arch. Double dip!

Stuff like this is why I've supported Brand New Day. That, and the rest of it has been great too. But that's just my opinion.
Oh, and has anyone noticed that JRJR is drawing Spidey like JRSR? By that I mean that they both seem to keep Spidey off the ground as much as possible. I like that. It really screams "this is Spider-Man!!!" Great stuff.

I'm looking forward to this. I've enjoed alot of the BND stories so far. New ways to die has been pretty good, and I didn't mind anti-Venom too much.
The weekly schedule doesn't hurt.

I've been loving NWTD but this was a pretty weak issue.
Still, I can't wait to see Spidey fight Bullseye next week.

Read it at my LCS and thought it was boring. Just a set up for the inevitable Bullseye vs Spidey issue. I'm sorry but did this really need to go 6 issues? I mean you all know how I feel about it but it seems like this issue was over right when the Anti-Venom nonsense was done in the issue....Do we really need to focus on anything else now?

@nuclearman Romita's art is my favorite thing about this book. IDK everybody has their own taste when it comes to art

Oh and btw: This cover might win the vote for 'comic with false advertising with cover award'. Yeah I dont remember Spidey fighting Goblin in this issue....nor Osborne going into his costume to begin with...

This series has been hit and miss so far, but this issue was more hit then last issue's miss. How long will Spidey keep the 'no one knows my identity' thing going? At this rate, not long.

I got the cover with anti-venom on it ... I would have given this three - I took a full point off for the fact that Norman Osborne finds Peter's camera - then doesn't think that Peter is Spiderman ... I mean isn't Osborne supposed to be smart ... that was just stooopid.

The hate between those two on the cover is nearly palpable. Nicely done, JR-Jr. I hope Marvel issues second-printings for the preceding chapters of New Ways to Die. I'm loving the new sponsor, heavyink.com, but this book is a sell-out, and my earlier decision to wait for the trade can't hold up when I see covers like this one.
