I am going to miss David Hine's run - he elevated the Spawn story to a whole new level and did more for the book than anyone short of McFarlane for creating the character. I am hoping for a battle royale like none other in this issue :-)

Posted by J4K3 on 10/07/08 at 03:21 PMTHis issue was a bit quick. You can really tell they're hurrying so they can get #185 out this month.
Posted by J4K3 on 10/09/08 at 03:49 PMIt was not the SHOOT OUT that I was hoping for and I really don't like how it ended with loose threads but since McFarlane wrote this one (and Hine plotted it) that is to be expected.
On to #185

"The end of an era" indeed. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of great comics, but the next issue looks to be something special.
