I second that above 100000% - it was a great read and if the trade does well we will see more from these guys in the future. Pick it up you won't regret it at all.

Posted by Eyun on 10/30/08 at 07:43 PMHey guys - I wanted to stop in and say thank you for all the kind words I have seen around here on Screamland - it really does mean a lot.
Also - CD37, I hate it when there are extras in the trade that were not in the issues myself - and I am really sorry about that. We went back and forth on it quite a bit, in the end it really came down to trying to add a bit more "value" to the trade as single issue sales weren't quite what we hoped and we thought we could catch new readers with the trade. I hope we haven't upset too many folks with that, and I take the blame as the choice on that really fell to me.
Just another note - if you aren't reading Image's Proof - you really should be, what a great book. I just finiahed the latest issue and really enjoyed.
Thanks again guys, really happy you enjoyed Screamland.

@Harold - It was completely my pleasure to read such a great book. I hope there's more in the pipeline? So thank you!
People, buy this trade now!
Posted by Eyun on 11/02/08 at 12:27 AM@HaroldSipe - I understand why extras are added to the trades these days as they seem to be where the money is made (or made up) for a lot of series (especially minis like yours). But at the same time I feel like the extra stuff should be added to the issues for the people (like me) who are picking up your book every month. We are the die hards!!! We are the ones that want the extras!!! I feel like the trades are more for the casual reader and a little bit of extra stuff isn't going to make or break them but at the same time a little extra in the issues might bring more people onto issues in my opinion. I have noticed that Image is the worst at adding extra stuff to their trades which makes me not want to read their stuff in issues any more and just wait for the trade. I understand the difficult decision you had to make and I thank you for your comments and AWESOME series. Hope their is more to come.

This was very enjoyable in issues; I highly recommend this if you are into horror, classic universal monsters, humor, movies, etc. (it has a little bit for everyone). I'm just disappointed that I didn't wait for the trade because I read somewhere that there is an additional story included in the trade that was not in the issues (I HATE when they do that), plus an intro by my favorite writer Jason Aaron. Buy this trade!!!
