Phonogram Singles Club #3 (OF 7)
As the Ice Queen of the Phonogram universe, Emily Aster is only afraid of two things: her past catching up and spending time in dodgy indie venues. In the latest of the seven-stories-in-one-night of the Singles Club, she's having to deal with both. Plus, two complete back-up stories featuring the art of LEIGH GALLAGHER (2000AD, The Witching) and LEE O'CONNOR.

Posted by KieronGillen on 06/16/09 at 06:56 AM@Alex - Supposedly the 6 pages of backup stories each week (which are some of the best bits) won't be included in the trade, at least until there's enough way down the line to constitute one of their own, so you might want to reconsider. This run does work really well in a single issues too...
Posted by MacAoidh on 06/16/09 at 08:16 AMJust read that preview, I think I love you KG, that pushed every single one of my buttons. And does this mean that we get a Kenickie track on the club mix?? Squeeeeeeee! I'm still super excited to see how Wolf Like Me fits into all this....
Posted by JedeyeSniv on 06/17/09 at 09:14 AMThe worst part of Phonogram is waiting until the next issue comes out, this was amazing
Posted by gobo on 06/17/09 at 04:30 PM@Gobo-Agreed. My favorite issue so far. Loved Kid-With-Knife's interpretation of the first trade. I would not be surprised at all if this was Ron's POTW. Stellar storytelling.
Posted by drakedangerz on 06/17/09 at 11:55 PMThe Control B-side was brilliant and hilarious. :)
