Really looking forward to this after the first issue. I have been telling people at my LCS to pick it up every week since it has come out. Phil Hester is going to be at Fall Con in St. Paul, MN October 4th and 5th and I am looking forward to meeting him and talking about Golly.

I really liked the first issue, and the concept is great.  I just hope it doesn't disappoint.

First issue was great. Go ahead and give this book a chance.

I could not pass harder on this book. Issue one was so much awful sauce.

I really enjoyed #1. Loved the big triangle :D

I'm just not sure how the whole thing is going to pan out. If I like this issue then I might wait for the trade after that cos I'm wanting to cut down on single issues.

Enjoyed the 1st issue as well.   It's definitely got that HBO Carnival vibe, which I also enjoyed.

Ha, yeah, and when he was recounting everything that had happened to him recently... so funny. I also loved the bit when 'satan' was saying what he was wearing as underwear:

"I'll tell you what I'm wearing as skivvies. Same thing as I've been wearing for 30 years. I'm wearing Ed Gein's face..."

Awesome, lol.

Grabbed issues #1 and #2 this week just by chance and loved them.  I am a fan of Hester's Firebreather and thought what the heck.

Anyone not reading this book you are missing out
