I'm confused... They're saying this is #8, but the cover art is from #7 and the synopsis sounds oddly like the plot of #6...

Plus the last issue only came out last week (week before at the most)... I hope I'm wrong, but I call tomfoolery.

@ Eyun- It also says art and cover is by David Lapham.

Dropping. I was excited through the first 5 issues and then bleh. No thanks.

I am confused as well, but always down for Mr. Lapham's Wild Ride. Some of my favorite stuff from Stray Bullets was the Amy Racecar stuff, so the last issue thrilled me. At least he's putting a book out on a frequent schedule. Dave Sim and Jeff Smith were in similar positions this spring, and they've only put out two issues of their new books. Lapham really seems to be on the ball with this one and enjoying himself. I don't know if anyone agrees with me, but I think he's at his best when he's at his most self-indulgent.

@ActualButt - I'm with you, dude... Couldn't agree more.

this is just like stray bullets issue five or six, with the fantastical story and all

Ok, disregard my first post. The cover and synopsis has changed. This makes more sense now.

Still fairly quick for a new issue, not that I'm complaining. Sadie may be my favourite female comic character since Jenny Sparks.

i have a feeling this Spiders from Mars thing is all in Sadie's head since the bullet got all 'effed a couple of issues back. WHICH is a TOTAL Lapham trick. I love this stuff and I will keep with this as long as it goes.

It is several shades of Amy Racecar during Stray Bullets. I am totally on board with this.

This book is so much fun, because I truly never know what happens next; which is kinda rare for me. This and Morrison's R.I.P. are the best in that regard right now...

And the spider-stuff is brilliant, btw.

so... was Annie X the clown back @ Sadie's father's home?
