Watchmen #1

This is...strange? Not sure why they're doing it exactly?

I suppose it is strange but I just think it'd be cool to have it in singles, and also to read it from month to month the way it was when it first came out :)

Not strange really.  They've made a butt-load on the collected editions in the last 6 months or so.  They can make a bunch more by just reprinting the old issues.  I'm gonna go out on a limb and say while this one is cheap, #2 will be $2.99 or 3.99 

If the rest is $1.50 (or $1.20 for me), then sign me up.

I guess I'll see how I feel at the store. I already have the trade (obviously) and recently ordered the Absolute...I guess I could go for the hat trick...?

Saw this in the store and it didn't have the original cover!!!:( One of the coolest things about the Watchmen covers was that all the covers where the first or second panel of that particular issue.

Someone borrowed my trade and hasn't returned it yet. I wanted to read Watchmen again, which is why I'm getting these issues. I hope they're all priced at 90php (here in the Philippines). If it were priced regularly at 165php or upwards, I wouldn't be getting this book.

This is the only one there is going to be.  They're not reprinting the rest of the series monthly.  It's just a sample to get you to buy one of the versions of the graphic novel.  Or if you download itunes, you can buy the Motion Comics.  I have a couple of those but I think I'm just gonna go out and buy the graphic novel soon.  I like to read things at my own pace.  If I'm not paying attention for a second, I can just go back and read that part again.  I don't have to try and rewind it back to the exact place that I missed, and hope I understand what the guy is mumbling this time.

What a stupid idea, they should at least reprint the entire series. How cool would it be if people now a days could buy the story in it's original form?

Dont get me wrong, the trades are selling fine at my work; but if we had single issues...I'd sell those out in a heartbeat.

I don't like the new coloring.

@WinTheWonderboy The original cover (and back cover) are behind the 'reprint' cover.  If you wanted to (and I considered it), you could remove the front cover and have the real cover.
