Top Ten Season Two #1 (OF 4)

AMERICA'S BEST COMICS. A new season dawns in the science-city of Neopolis! A new commissioner, along with some new rules, comes to Precinct 10, as Slipstream Phoenix, a rookie cop with an ugly secret, fights for respect among his new peers. Meanwhile, Shock-Headed Peter and the Dust Devil investigate a mysterious, ancient drug dealer, and a very public multiple homicide sets Captain Jetman and Lieutenant Peregrine scrambling for answers.

The police procedural crime and intrigue continue in this new series based on concepts and characters created by legendary writer Alan Moore (WATCHMEN, V FOR VENDETTA).

Wow.  Weird.  I just got done reading the origional run of this.  Does anyone know if it matters if you've never read all the other spin off comics?  Like the Smax mini or the 49ers?

I don't think it has much to do with the series proper.  But Smax's is freaking amazing.  You should totally read that.

Good to know.  I just found out about this about a month ago.  My friend gave me the first run to read and I really liked it.  I'll have to see if I can dig up the smax trade.

I know it's not Alan Moore

but it's only 4 issues, the original series was awesome and the Ha is back. I think i'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt

if i held every comic to an alan moore standard, all comics would suck. except comics by alan moore. of course.

hoping this will be fun.

Ah, this is very very good.  I wrote a review.  Also, read Smax and Forty-Niners.  Both just as good as Season One.
