@Cooper- No, not really. We already have to wait a month and a half for Scalped to come out, last thing I'd want is someone other than Aaron writing it.

I'm interested to see how Wood can tell this story.

No way Wood as writer can be correct. This is the middle of a big arc, not a one shot.

This series does the one-shot'ish issue in the middle of arcs quite a bit - those little departures from the story to concentrate on a specific character or two.

And nothing in the solicit talks about the Hmong/RedCrow conflict, so I'd assume that's what we're getting.

Wood is listed as the writer on Vertigo's website, so must be correct. 

Last couple issues were awesome so I was looking forward to this, but now Wood makes me nervous, I don't like change.

That's awesome that Wood's writing this. He's one of my fave writers. Looking forward to reding it when the trade comes.

If Wood's really writing this, i am pretty intrigued.  I would trust him to do a good job with an issue, but i think this is Aaron's masterpiece so far in his career.

Guys, it's a typo. Aaron even confirmed it on his Twitter. This is his book, no one else's. Well, maybe R M Guera's.

Ya I saw that Vertigo has it down on their website. I've also noticed IGN is all excited about it being a Brian Wood issue, but its really silly to think that a writer would take over in the middle of one of the biggest arcs of a series. If it was a one-shot that might be understandable, but even then I would doubt it. No other option, but for that to be a typo.

Not by Brian Wood at all. Good issue -- definately building to the end of the arc. I really noticed Guerra's backgrounds in this issue for some reason. Really great work in the panel to panel story telling artwork! Love this book.

@Denver - I remember when this book first came out, I loved it despite Guera's art, which I hated.  Now I can't imagine Scalped without it - he's come such a long way

When a lady throws up, it's rarely because she's pregnant. (but we'll see...)

A woman throwing up for no apparent reason (in a work of fiction) is almost always a hint that she is pregnant.
