Robin #172

Robin #172

A stakeout turns into a takedown when Robin and Violet both have their sights set on the same dirty casino…and each other! They'll have to work together to get out alive, but someone's not playing fair, and old hurts can mean new trouble when the chips are down. Plus, Cavallo and Wise play their hands even closer, and their grip on Robin is getting even tighter!

This book needs to pick up or it is getting the axe.  Sadly as much as I love Dixon on so many other books he's not doing it for me on this one.

I really like Batista's art.  Reminds me of Cliff Chiang.  Not a fan of this chick Dixon is trying to fit in, though.

Violet? yeah she seems really forced into this story.  I'll wait and see I've been so dedicated to this book that it's hard to drop.  Also I want to see who the new Spoiler is.

I'm dropping this book after this issue, sad to say.

I really enjoyed this issues, a lot more than any of the previous ones. I guess I just like Dixon's handle of the Batman universe but between this and the Outsiders I had a great time with the caped crusader this week.
