Director Bones, people. I don't see how you can afford not to pick this up.

This book is like Invincible for me personally -- I haven't read a single issue of either of them, but have heard nothing but praise for them, & I really wanna read them. But, I can't decide if I should try to jump in now with issues or go back and read from the beginning in trades.

Add Fear Agent to that list too. I guess I need more time & more money.

You can jump in with #31 comfortably. There's a nice recap before the action gets going.

The trades are great, but I'd just jump right in.

@WadeWilson: BatStewie is correct - last issue featured a great recap that will get you up to speed in no time. If you're interested, I would then go back and grab the trades but for $2.99 you can hop on board a lot cheaper with 31 and still know exactly what's going on and get a feel for the tone of the book. And I'm not sure if you noticed, but this issue has Director Bones, so there's that as well.

Director Bones getting a massage. Now there was a classic scene in the all-time history of classic scenes.

Is most of Manhunter collected in trades? Cuz it looks cool and i would like to read it sometime. I have always heard it was great.

Sounds like good advice, Batstewie & Dante. I'll pick up both the issues today ... hopefully my LCS still has a copy of #31 left.

@WinTheWonderboy

Yeah! I read 'em all in the trades! Very good! You'll enjoy the stories... and you'll end up loving Kate Spencer and her messed up ways. The Jae Lee covers that they print between the issues are simply beautiful.

Thanks to Batstewie & Dante for the great advice. I got the last two issues & loved them, this last one especially. My stack was pretty disappointing overall this week, so it was awesome to have a nice surprise like this. I thought this book would be good, but I didn't know it would be THIS good. Nice art, very good story and something very important to me personally -- awesome dialogue!

I'll definately be checking out the next issue & chasing down the trades.
