I read Meltzer's run and dropped it after Duffie's first arc. I've picked up maybe three issues here and there from 17-31.
I really thought the last issue was strong. I don't know these characters that well but I liked the direction the book seemed to be going. I'm going to buy this issue.

So, now, it seems EVERY issue will be the issue that will make me decide if I'll be back next time...considering I've said the same thing THE LAST 3 ISSUES. I like McDuffie, I like the Milestone, and I so want to read an exciting Justice League book on a monthly basis.
I'm not happy with this issue, and I haven't been happy with this entire series. Yet, I'm coming back every month because, as with this issue, there is something there; a plot twist, an art change, a new character; that shows great promise in turning everything around.
I'm just wondering if Promise will EVER deliver....

What was up with the art on this comic? I usually love Rags Morales stuff. Did the inker just totally warp his lines, or did he go through a style change that gave people weird faces?

I bought this cuz I wanted to try something different. What a waste of 3 bucks. Nice cover though.

By Dwayne McDuffie? I thought last issue was pretty much his last regular one. I'll have to check this in the store, but I'm fairly sure I won't get it. That last issue with Starbreaker that was supposed to be by McDuffie but was actually Len Wein was pretty bad. Not a good omen for this issue or Weins upcoming arc.
