I *think* I'm going to drop this. It's going to be a game time decision on Wednesday.

I'm with you on that one. Definitely a clutch decision on Wednesday.
Posted by paulieP on 02/16/09 at 05:28 PMI dropped it 5 issues ago, then picked up last issue because I like the artist Crisscross. It just hasn't been very interesting and aside from some random good character interaction, I was continually finding myself regretting spending $3 on it.
Posted by Andrew on 02/16/09 at 10:10 PMIf this is part two of the last issue, which read like a bad episode of the old Super Friends cartoon (maybe even cornier?) I won't be buying this. It's hard to tell what will be inside the pages when DC keep getting their solicits wrong ...
Posted by WadeWilson on 02/17/09 at 09:21 AMyea this does not look good, i am not optimistic. isn't another justice league book starting at some point? i want to know that if i drop this i will be still be able to get my fill of the jla. or i could just go back and reread morrison's run.
Posted by watchthesparks on 02/17/09 at 09:28 AMim with conor on this one.
Posted by rayclark on 02/17/09 at 06:44 PMGod this is depressing. Did anyone notice the line-up in the Origins and Omens for the JLA this year? A whole bunch of second stringers that no one cares about. Awesome. JLA has been the one book I don't drop, but this may just do it.
Posted by Truthseeker on 02/20/09 at 08:15 AMso i think i am just gonna stick this out til the final issue and then see what happens from there
Posted by rayclark on 02/20/09 at 12:53 PMI have issues 1-29, but I dropped it on this issue. Anyone who read this issue - was it worth staying around? I have been board for a while, and gave up hope that I'm going to get interested again for a while... Also, I thought I heard that they are starting over with a new number 1 issue soon - did I dream that, because I haven't seen any talk about that lately...

It wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. I'd avoid buying it and just flip through it in the store if you just HAVE to know what happened...which wasn't much.
As far as the new number one I believe what you have heard is the talk of James Robinsons Justice League which will be a supplement for JLA not a replacement. The main thrust is that ther JL will be more proactive in putting a stop to threats before they happen, whereas JLA always just responds to threats after they have begun.
Posted by Parker on 02/23/09 at 03:23 PMI dropped this a while ago, the only thing that might get me to buy this is the origins and omens.

So are we actually getting the issue solicited or is this going to be another bait and switch like last issue?
