I haven't seen it yet but I;m thinking, sure fire pick of the week. I hope they continue with those lovely page numbers. There is no worry of missing a page or jumping ahead or endlessly pinching and rubbing the pages because you think you must have missed something. Not with these consumate professionals. Homeboys know how it should be done.

This is easily my favorite comic that I buy monthly, but this is not the issue that I was expecting.

I think it is the next issue.

I love Garres' art on this book.  I'd love to see him as a regular artist, swapping issue with Bernett.  And it'd be even better to have the occasional big name thrown for good measure once or twice a year (e.g. Darwyn Cooke).

If Garres became the regular artist I would drop the book.  I barely made it through this issue because of the art.

Sometimes comic book art can be interesting.

Sometimes comic book art can be beautiful.

or a combination of both or a myriad of other things.

But it has to be able to tell a story without the reader having to work too hard.

I was working too hard with this art.

I found the art intresting though.

There have been some confusing artists on this book before.
