I gotta say, I was a bit disappointed by this one. I went in hoping to like it, as while I was sad that Diggle had left, mostly everything I've read about Milligans run so far has been positive. I liked the Scab storyline itself, and thought the art suited it well (it reminded me of my favourite Hellblazer artist, Marcelo Fruisin). But the second story I felt was kind of, well, simple. It resolution was kind of stupid and made me think, if that's the ending Milligan had in mind all along, this really could have been done in one issue. I also thought the art was too clean, I like my Hellblazer art either slightly cartoonish like Fruisin or dark. It reminded me of the art of Ellis' run, which I've never liked. Anyway, I'll pick up the next trade, but if that one doesn't amaze me, I'll probably wait until a new writer comes on Hellblazer to pick another one up.
