I actually like this book. Dunno where all the hate is coming from.
Posted by skeets on 08/12/09 at 04:42 AMI actually picked this up on a whim and thought it was kinda cool. I especially liked the Black Canary second feature since it included an appearance by one of my favorite hero's Wildcat.
Posted by Patman2 on 08/12/09 at 11:00 PMIf you dug it, check out the last 2 issues which featured Wildcat cameos (moreso issue #22 which features Dinah and Wildcat's first meeting).
As for this issue, I really love how DC is handling the co-feature here. Not only do they switch the main and co-feature leads around, but both show the other side of the story and intertwine. Really fun stuff. 4/5
Posted by skeets on 08/13/09 at 02:36 AMOk, this issue was actually pretty good. The last few story arces havent been very strong, but it seems to be picking up. I still dont get why Dinah wants GA to quite???? Or when he "crossed the line"????
Also GA hitting Black Canary with a tazzer a while back is kinda unforgivable.
Posted by Aquaman on 08/13/09 at 12:52 PMHe hasn't crossed the line, she wants him to quit before he does. Right now he's toeing the line what with his questionable actions regarding the lives of some of the recent villains.

But he dident kill anyone??? Cupid killed a bunch of people but Black Canary already knows it was her. Ollie even SAVED Merlyn when Cupid cut his throat! I just dont understand where Dinahs concern is coming from.
Posted by Aquaman on 08/14/09 at 02:37 PMYeah he hasn't but she wants him to stop before he does. He was talking about how he was glad Cupid killed all those bad guys, and then in the second to last issue he didn't stop her when she was about to kill the dude who killed his wife. He also beat a regular guy unconscious.
Posted by skeets on 08/14/09 at 05:15 PMThose issues when Oliver was on the island with the dude who trained Deathstroke has convinced me that Green Arrow will never cross the line. The was the point of that entire arc.
I just really hate that the writters tearing BC and GA apart like this. They got married not to long ago
Posted by Aquaman on 08/14/09 at 08:27 PMthat tearing apart remains to be seen.
Posted by skeets on 08/15/09 at 06:35 PMWhat?? Remember those issues where the title was Green Arrow VS Black Canary? The books even been split so that each character gets their own story. And that akward phone call in the latest issue? Dinah dident even tell Oliver about her destroying that sound guys life. And Cupid is basically designed to come between the two of them.
I suppose the writers still doing his job because we ARE talking about this.
Posted by Aquaman on 08/15/09 at 11:47 PMThey are still a couple though is what I mean.
Posted by skeets on 08/16/09 at 01:27 AMThis book is lame.
