Yeah! I liked it too. I guess it's pretty obvious who Brewster & Ridgeway represent in the real world, but who are Suarez & McClellan supposed to be?
Posted by WadeWilson on 10/03/08 at 06:36 AMOne more question: Since when did Loid Lane work for a TV network?

Shit, three posts in a row ... sorry.
Posted by WadeWilson on 10/03/08 at 06:54 AMKATHERINE MCCLELLAN (R)
DAVIS BREWSTER (D)
BOB RIDGEWAY (R?) I'm just guessing because Guy backs him and he calls GA a pinko.
MARTIN SUAREZ (D?) I'm guessing because if he's an R there would be only one D running and 3 R's.
I'm not sure but I think thats what everyone is. I could be wrong though. One could be Independent or Green Party or something. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the comic where it gives who is what.
If that list is right it means that Bruce is backing a D and that is strange to me. I would of thought he was an R. Well he has that whole problem with guns and he isn't for killing killers so maybe he has some D leanings.
Fun stuff though.
@WadeWilson - She got told to cover this story by her boss and told her she'd be going on tv for it. I can't remember why. It's in the first comic.

You know what I hate in comics/movies? When they use news on TV as a device to tell details of the story, catch up on events etc. It's kind of a cheat, or lazy writing (IMO) & it seems to be pretty common.

I thought this issue was really good. The GL vs GA fight was good old fun. The flood gates open with super heroes backing their candidates and the last page was a great one.
