@ Zeppo - generally speaking, Astro City is very accessable. You can pick up almost any issue and be fine.

This was my only comic this week, so I guess it's my Pick of the Week by default! But the comic does look very good, so it probably would win out with other contenters.
@Zeppo, I agree with FlakBait you can just jump into the series without any prep. Wikipedia is not necessary, but can also be fun if you like that sort of thing (which I will admit I do at times).

Nope. This was my pick. I know I know there were alot of good stuff, but in no way has anyone... and i mean ANYONE pull off cosmic like Anderson did. That page KICKED MY ASS. This has got to be what a meth user sees because that page was out of this world...
@Powerdad: Your favorite comic shop is waaay too far from my campus. I pretty much flake out because the UW Zanadu is right there short 10 blocks. I also use the library system too, I got 2 trades of "52" checked out.

I might have to have a look at this.
My friend just sold me the the first 12 issues of this series for £12, can you go from the 2nd mini series to this or is there more I need to catch up on?
