Umbrella Academy Dallas #6 (OF 6)
The chaos into which the members of the Umbrella Academy have been thrown in an effort to -- what else? -- save the world, becomes even more disordered! In the conclusion to the series' second arc, one of the team commits a bizarre murder, and the brothers and sisters reach their boiling points. Family tensions were high between the siblings when they were a united force, but now they've begun to turn on one another...
Winner of the 2008 Eisner Award for Best Limited Series, and the 2008 Harvey Award for Best New Series, for the first arc of The Umbrella Academy, "Apocalypse Suite", "Dallas" continues the excellence teaming Gerard Way, multi-award winning artist Gabriel Bá, and colorist Dave Stewart.

This may be my most anticipated book this week, which is saying something when The Walking Dead is coming out as well.

Posted by edward on 05/12/09 at 02:21 AMThis book continues to amaze. Great original story. Fantastic storytelling that suits the tone of the book and just overall great design from cover to cover (and yes, I love the back cover stuff).
Posted by Croz on 05/12/09 at 10:14 AMMan a mixture of happy and sad for this. Happy cause I love this book. Sad because it will be a minute until the next run.
Posted by voodoomama on 05/12/09 at 04:36 PMI can't believe this mini is already coming to an end, it feels like I got #1 yesterday.

Posted by edward on 05/14/09 at 05:19 AMI gave this book a 5, but I don't think it'll be in POW contention.
I've loved both of these volumes, but I think they connect with me more when I read them all together. I've followed each of them in issues, and will probably continue to do so out of habit, but my favorite part about Umbrella Academy is being able to go back and read them all together they day the last issue comes out, as there are certain times I'm confused and don't read as carefully as I should.
Great issue though, can't wait for the next volume!
