While I still find the ending of the first issue dubious, but, an admittedly necessary plot device, and I don't believe Holmes defense would have gotten him off the hook so lightly I really enjoyed this series. In this issue I particularly the liked the juxtaposition of the court case and the chase scene (although the beginning of the chase was confusing and poorly handled).

I look forward to more original series (and even more Sherlock Holmes) from Moore, and Reppion rather than all the classic novel adaptations they seem to be doing.

Oh, and the final few pages were fantastic, and cast a new light on the whole run.

This has been a great little mini-series. I'm looking forward to future Dynamite/Reppion/Moore comics.
