Oh yeah, I'm well aware of what penultimate means (still doesn't necessarily preclude the explanation, or the beginnings of one being in this issue though, and possibly hunting down the culprit in the next). Regardless, it'll still be a damper on a great series if the events are not justified in the end.

This mini is so great. I would love to see this creative team on an ongoing Holmes book.

Really looking forward to this, haven't been disappointed yet. That said the premise from the end of the first issue is still hanging over everything, and I just hope the explanation is strong enough.
