Did anyone buy  issue 1?  I flipped through it at the store and really disliked the art so I passed.  If someone tells me the story is really really good though, I might reconsider.

I bought issue #1 and thought it was really good (don't know if it was really really good). It moved really fast (in a good way) and ended with the type of ending you would have expected later in the series or even at the end to transition into another mini. I don't remember the art much but I did enjoy the issue and will be picking this up. That's my 2 cents.

Not a bad idea, keeps up the humor, but didn't capture the Ghostbusters from the movie.  Though, I did enjoy it and didn't feel it was a waste of money.

I agree and disagree with @jmarquiso. This book definitely did NOT capture the characters or spirit (ba-Dum-dum) of the movie. The art is mediocre and there is just no fun here. Defintely won't be back for issue #2.

This is book is doing something that's a mixture between the Real Ghostbusters and the Ghostbusters movie in tone.  The villain ghosts could not be as well characterized as they are in this, and in the second one definately.  The ghosts are real characters here, which is what I like.  As are the Ghostbusters as the stakes are pretty high for them here.

It could use a LOT more humor.

 Back for #3.
