Garth Ennis Battlefields Tankies #2

Garth Ennis Battlefields Tankies #2

The death ride of the British armoured divisions continues as German resistance intensifies, littering the Normandy countryside with smashed tanks and bloody bodies. Worse still, mutiny begins to rear its head- at the worst possible time, with hungry Tigers on the prowl...

I don't think this arc is going to be as strong as the previous two, but i am enjoying nonetheless.

Wow, what a fantastic cover!

I wasn't as impressed by the first issue as much as I was by the first of Dear Billy, but I enjoyed it thoroughly and have no doubt that this series will be another home run from Ennis.

Yeah i wasn't that impressed by the first ish. But, i really didn't dig Dear Billy until the second issue kinda tied the first issue in well. Hopefully this will do the same thing.

I trust Ennis. This will end up being great too.

I think my only complaint about this particular series is the language.  I was lost in translation for the first issue.  It's difficult with thick accents to interpret what they're actually saying.  But if I could decipher Uncle Tom's Cabin, I should catch on quick.

Geordie dialect is notoriously difficult to read. If you think this was hard you should find a copy of VIZ and check out Biffa Bacon or Sid the Sexist

I suspect a 99% chance that tanks will be involved!

I feel this was the weakest of all the Battlefields issue so far, let alone this arc.  This arc really should've been in the middle, and the series should've ended with Dear Billy, as it definitely will be the strongest once this is all done.
