I love ennis, and this book has given me goosebumps its so good. First issue i was questioning the premise, but after issue 2, then re-reading one and two, this may be one of my favorites since ive started reading comics.

The thing i love about this BF series, is that after reading Night Witches, i'm thinking, 'i dont have alot of interest in the pacific theatre of WW2' but then, of course, i love the book. And now im amped for Tankies or whatever the next one is called. Which, again, doesnt look like much, but i'll be damned if Ennis lets me down.

Cannot wait for the conclusion to this series. I'm sad to see it go, but it's been one hell of a ride.

@robbydzwonar - I know, between this and Lone Ranger they're become one of my faves.
This title continues to amaze me with the depth and bredth of its storytelling. This truly is Ennis' finest work.
Also the ad for the new Sherlock Holmes series has got me excited.

Wow, what a great series & what a haunting & surprsing last page. I didn't see that coming at all, it shocked me. It was a fitting way for this woman's story to end, though -- with blood in the water.
