Carrie's quest for revenge finally takes her over the edge, though with the end of the war in sight it seems doubtful that anyone will notice our heroine's private struggle. I love ennis, and this book has given me goosebumps its so good. First issue i was questioning the premise, but after issue 2, then re-reading one and two, this may be one of my favorites since ive started reading comics.
Posted by Fvckstick on 03/23/09 at 07:18 PMThis arc has been fantastic, I have a feeling it won't end well for the characters.
Posted by mountainwindcat on 03/23/09 at 07:57 PMThe thing i love about this BF series, is that after reading Night Witches, i'm thinking, 'i dont have alot of interest in the pacific theatre of WW2' but then, of course, i love the book. And now im amped for Tankies or whatever the next one is called. Which, again, doesnt look like much, but i'll be damned if Ennis lets me down.
Posted by Fvckstick on 03/23/09 at 08:42 PMThis series has been great! A romance story about a serial killer nun. Ennis, you crazy magnificent bastard.
Posted by WadeWilson on 03/24/09 at 12:37 AMCannot wait for the conclusion to this series. I'm sad to see it go, but it's been one hell of a ride.

Posted by robbydzwonar on 03/25/09 at 02:54 PM@robbydzwonar - I know, between this and Lone Ranger they're become one of my faves.
This title continues to amaze me with the depth and bredth of its storytelling. This truly is Ennis' finest work.
Also the ad for the new Sherlock Holmes series has got me excited.
Posted by Davetron3k on 03/27/09 at 03:41 PMman, that woman was insane... a great ending, i thought, it depressed the shit out of me but was still great
Posted by edward on 03/28/09 at 09:33 AMWow, what a great series & what a haunting & surprsing last page. I didn't see that coming at all, it shocked me. It was a fitting way for this woman's story to end, though -- with blood in the water.
