Doktor Sleepless #9
The Doktor may have pushed the city too far. People are sick. People are dying. But nobody in Heavenside minds, right? Not the nice people in Central, behind the pay-cop barrier. But what happens when all the little things that the nice people count on stop working too? Warren Ellis' satirical-political science fiction novel continues its on-going run! The issue is available with a regular cover by series artist Ivan Rodriguez, or wraparound cover by Raulo Caceres, and also a rare 1-in-15 'Future Warning Sign' cover.

I tried the first issue. It didn't do much for me.
Posted by conor on 09/30/08 at 01:12 AMIts definitely Ellis being Ellis. I've found that the issues are hit/miss but when they hit, they hit well and I really like the idea behind the book though.

I must admit, I may have an Ellis bias, but I still believe that most people would enjoy this if they gave it a chance.
