@cylonpete - Totally agree. It's nice to fill in some blanks between the show and the book, and it's very good, but it's teasing to the point where it should be illegal!
Posted by Eyun on 05/06/08 at 09:24 AMI'm digging this whole "First Night" thing... The Lorne story from last issue was okay, but watching the Spike and Connor's in last issue was quality... We're learning things that are gonna let them build up now that they're building outwards...
Take this issue, the first little story was about Wesley and that was brilliant (it's giving us great background so we can move forward with trepidation a la BSG: Razor) and the continuation of the Connor storyline with the main character of the second one took my breath away when they revealed who that was... I'm not gonna spoil, but if you've seen most/all of Angel there's no way you shouldn't at least be interested in how this story's going to move forward now that this character's showed up...

Again, this first night thingy is nice and everything, but...I WANT THE CONTINUATION OF THE STORY! 'nuff said...
